Quit Smoking: Smoke-Free (“Quit Smoking”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is designed to help you track a personal quit journey. This policy explains what the current app stores and how it is used.
1. Information you choose to add
The app may store information you enter while creating and using your quit profile, such as your name, quit date, smoking habits, currency, reasons, savings goals, check-ins, cravings, slips, and milestone progress.
2. Profile photos
You may choose a photo for your profile. The current app copies that image into the app’s private documents area on your device. It is not uploaded by the app. You can remove the profile photo from the app’s profile settings.
3. How the app uses information
Your information is used on your device to calculate and display smoke-free time, estimated recovery milestones, money saved, cigarettes not smoked, craving wins, check-in history, goals, and other progress views. If you enable reminders, the app uses your profile and preferences to schedule local notifications.
4. Local storage and widgets
The current build stores quit data locally using the device’s app storage. Selected progress values may be passed to the operating system’s home-screen widget extension so the widget can display your smoke-free time, next milestone, savings, and related progress. The widget does not create a separate online account.
5. What we do not collect in the current build
The current build does not require an account and does not include our own server sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or a remote upload path for your quit data or profile photo. We do not sell your personal information.
Device operating systems and services may process information according to their own policies. For example, if you choose to contact us by email, your email provider will process the message and any attachments you send.
6. Notifications and permissions
Notifications are optional. If you grant notification permission, the app schedules reminders and milestone messages locally on your device. You can disable them in the app’s settings or in your device settings. The app requests photo-library access only when you choose to select a profile photo.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can edit your profile, remove your profile photo, disable reminders, or use “Reset app” in Settings to clear the stored quit profile, progress records, goals, check-ins, and notification preferences. Resetting is permanent for the data stored by the app. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local app storage according to your operating system.
If you need help with a privacy request, email rk126356@gmail.com. Because the current build does not maintain an online account or server copy of your app data, we may not have a separate remote record to retrieve or delete.
8. Children’s privacy
Quit Smoking is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current app.
9. Health information notice
The app’s recovery views are educational estimates and are not a diagnosis, medical record, or substitute for professional medical advice. Please speak with a qualified healthcare professional about quitting, withdrawal, medication, or any health concern.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change or when clarification is needed. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest version. Material changes should be reflected in the app and store disclosures where appropriate.
